Initiated by the Nigerian government under the impetus of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, the Tuareg Festival of the Air is a strong symbol of the recognition of the Tuareg culture. The objective was to promote this culture and their traditions in the heart of the city of Iferouane at the foot of Mount Tamgak. This is the place chosen for this grandiose festival. All nomadic and sedentary Tuareg share 3 days of fantasia and ceremonies to the sound of music and cultural activities. This immersion takes you into an atmosphere of great feast and also beautiful images of a people happy and fulfilled of their culture. This expedition takes us to the dune chains of Chiriet and Izzane, but also to the oasis of Timia and its watchtower.
