The Ennedi with its typical massif, by its vast content, does not exist anywhere else in the Sahara. With its vast landscapes, its spectacular scenery, and its sandstone mountains takes us beyond all consciousness, even beyond the imagination. Needles, arches, cathedrals and dungeons of stones are conquered and mixed with fine sand dunes and perfect shapes. The caravan moves slowly, heading due south, following the rocky and volcanic Ennedi border.
